Why We Founded SwissNest
Finding an apartment in Zurich is hard enough when you live here. Imagine doing it from abroad.
We've both been newcomers ourselves. Anna moved to Zurich in 2009 and has since become Swiss. Andy followed in 2018. Today, Zurich is where we're raising our 2 sons and running our businesses.
In 2019, we founded Comfort Apartments, managing furnished homes in Zurich and Basel. That experience taught us how the rental market works from both sides.
We saw how frustrating apartment hunting can be: missed viewings, unanswered applications and property managers who expect you to be there in person when you're still abroad.
So we created SwissNest. We attend viewings, help prepare applications and follow up with property managers. We act and respond quickly, because moving cities doesn't fit into office hours.
We wanted to offer the kind of local support we would have appreciated when we first arrived.
The A-Team behind SwissNest
Together, we own and manage residential properties and understand the housing market from both the tenant’s and property owner’s perspective.
